Dr. Seecoomar is personable and takes his time with each patient. He made me feel heard for the first time and was willing to manage my health together, collaboratively. I wish he could be my everything doctor!

This was my first appointment. Surprisingly, it was informative and productive, with the doctor paying close attention to my health records, asking me to provide relevant descriptions and depictions of ailments, stating what might be relevant or related, checking me out on a table, providing some indications of possibilities of causes, scheduling needed future exams, and providing descriptive brochures of next exams along with their nature, purpose, and preparations.
In addition, he was seemingly very knowledgeable, respectful, polite, inquiring, informative, and open ear. I particularly enjoyed his response to comments on diagnoses some doctors had given me more than 3 decades ago, to which he said they might have been some of his professors and that the study of medicine had advanced a long way since. Overall, he easily instilled the kind of confidence a patient wants to experience with a doctor in an initial visit.

Finding a new doctor is always stressful, especially after having five gastroenterologists in the past 10 years due to changing insurance. Thankfully, I hit the jackpot with Dr. Seecomar and his office!
He is professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. Dr. Seecomar has explained aspects of my Ulcerative Colitis that no one else ever has, and his advice on diet and management has been invaluable. He takes the time to truly listen and provide thoughtful care—a rarity these days.
I’m beyond thrilled to have found him and highly recommend his compassionate and thorough approach to anyone in need of a great gastroenterologist!
